Assignment 4: Colour Coalition
Just to show you the work in progress. I stopped a few times to take screenshots, and get suggestions from friends. I found this to be extremely crucial if I wanted to see if it could be successful in the later stages. Indeed, I had feedback from fellow local dancers, which was SO TOTALLY AWESOME!
First impressions: SO CUTE! I needed more concrete and constructive comments, so I probed further....

Lecture Exercise C: Pictogram
In this exercise, we were to sketch an object in its iconic and indexical form. Glenn and I decided on the iPod as the iconic form, which is by its resemblance to the actual object. We then drew it in indexical form, which is categorized by convention. Music is the key element of the iPod, hence we chose a musical note to represent it.

Assignment 2: Less is More
Task: Create ONE pictogram for a local site of your choice – i.e. shopping complex, school, community centre, sport hall, housing estate or national park. Assignment 1: Me, Myself and I
Stage 4 - Final Prototype
This was the final prototype I presented in class. I chose the portrait over a landscape because this made the sneakers in a central position. One problem I had was that I couldn’t get the same colours on screen on paper as well!
The class commented that the ‘E’ was the most outstanding, and that there should be a change in colours of the background....
