Reflections
It’s finally the end of NM2208; I’m relieved, though a little sad that this module has ended! I really had a lot of fun and fresh experiences going through this module, learning what goes into a work of design, working with people, being open to feedback given by others, generating new ideas and working within tight deadlines. I think this module helped my grow a lot in terms of design...

Assignment 5: How Things Work
fighting climate change (final)
Various concepts were generated based on a list of climate change solutions in the home - a cutaway model of a house with internal structures that showed where one can save on carbon dioxide; another was a three dimensional model of a house and various parts of the house. The latter concept was chosen for clarity.
The final design is formulated through...

Assignment 4: Color Coalition
floor the love (final)
The final design was chosen based on functionality, visibility and attention. The three different avatars are of different colors such to distinguish the different styles. As a informative and directive sign, black and...

Assignment 1: Me, Myself and I
Footwork (final)
The final design is a realistic three-dimensional image of a sneaker. It represents my love for sneakers, dance and design. The colorway of the sneaker is based on the CMYK color model, which happens to be a few of my favorite colors. To enable the letters MEL to stand out, the other colors used are whites and greys as a contrast.

Font Exploration
To give it a more fun and less “professional” look, we decided to look at “handwriting” style font.
Kitsu
Bina Bina Fun
Lele Scribadoo
We chose Kitsu over the other three because it is easier to read, unlike the bina bina fun font which “jumps” all over the place (just like some children’s handwriting!) I personally...
