// Assignment 3: U C What I C//

fact of life (final)

This was what actually went on in the planning stages.

Storyboard

storyboard

The storyboard consisted of eight panels.

Panel 1 Long or extreme long shot of the setting, either with or without the character.

Panel 2 High camera angle taken from the top of the stairs, showing vulnerability of the character in relation to the setting.

Panel 3 Introductory close up view of the character showing her reluctance to start climbing the stairs.

Panel 4 Over the shoulder back view close up shot or an extreme close up of her feet to show the start of her climb.

Panel 5 A full view shot shows her position in relation to the top of the stairs.

Panel 6 Close up reaction shot of the “surprise”

Panel 7 A neutral point of view shot of the “surprise”.

Panel 8 Medium close up reaction shot after the “surprise” sinks in.

// Assignment 3: U C What I C//

Task: Create
ONE
sequence
of
 images
 comprises
between
 6‐9
 photographs
 that
 tells
a
 linear
 photo
 narrative.
 While
 a
 single
photo
may
 tell
 part
 of
 a
story,
a
photo
 narrative
 expands
the
experience
 to
 paint
a larger
picture.

This was my original idea! I realized that I forgot to upload it. Basically a story that depicts a real life situation, where a person climbs a huge flight of stairs and in the end realizing that she could have taken the lift. Life’s like that. Although the story might seem rather superficial, it actually is a reflection of situations in life, where things aren’t always what they seem.

I just reorganized this based on the format of two A3s and also with the feedback from the class. The class said that the order was not clear, and suggested photo sequence changes based on the other photo thumbnails I had. WAIT FOR IT :D
