Illustrator For Beginners 1

I finally started to learn to use Illustrator. I heard that it would be a steep learning curve to climb before one catches the hang of this software, so naturally I was a bit nervous in picking it up.

Yesterday I attended the Illustrator workshop for beginners, and boy, was it challenging! We learnt to use paths to draw images (an apple), and I was quite satisfied with the results after a few tries. I played with the various fills to colour the apple; it was quite fun! Upon reaching home, I redrew the apple and drew another fruit - a strawberry. One difficulty I faced was identifying the shadows and shading in the actual image. I hope to get the hang of it soon.

Edit.// Okay so today I tried drawing a banana with various shadows, and I like it.
